#8 on cooking skills

Assalamualaikum =))

One thing a girl will try to polish up before they get married is their cooking skills, true? Ramadhan is actually a really really good time for me to absorb all the cooking skills from the chef of the house. When else my mom would cook variety of dishes?? Usually it's during this time our mom would try different menu everyday that she seldom cooked on the other months.

Honestly, i'm not much of a cooked. I would only help my mom cut the onions and veggies, and kacau kacau periuk. Kacau mak kat dapur pun boleh =p. After that, if she ask me to cook by myself, I would ask her every other second how to make the dishes. huhu.

Personally I think, we should ask our future hubby what kind of food they like. Malay? Western? Spicy? Do they like seafood? Lamb? At least if we know, we can start mastering their favorite dish the way they like it. Bak kata pepatah, menambat hati suami dari perut. Eh betul ke pepatah ni? Same goes with our in-laws parent too.

If you are looking for a recipe or learning to cook like me, might want to try Chef Hanieliza Recipe. It really works!! She's not stingy at all in sharing the recipe. She has hundreds of recipe in her website.... All of them are easy step by step recipe like how our mom would cook.
